First visits typically take approximately one hour. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment to complete intake information and allow our staff to get your file put together. After that is complete, you will be seen by Dr. Jacobs. A thorough history will be taken, followed by medically indicated neurological, orthopedic, radiological (x-ray) and chiropractic examinations.
After a review of findings of these examinations, the doctor will explain to you what chiropractic care can do and why chiropractic adjustments work. Nutritional and supplement advice usually is integrated in with your care, as wellness has to begin with the raw materials that our bodies use as fuel.
Following the adjustment, the doctor may use further therapies, including soft tissue mobilization, stretching, physiomodalities and provide home instructions for self management. Getting you to feel better will be a team effort.
